I tried to see what the first reviewer said. And listened closely, but I didn't find anything irratating, or wrong with this song.

maybe he just... really... really doesn't like dissonance?

The melodic work itself is qutie spectacular in my opinion. The song flows well and the structure holds throughout.

I don't rightly know how to critique a piece like this. You see i'm not that knowledgable about Music Theory, but I know a good piece when I hear one, and I really liked this one.

I'd like to invite you to check out my work sometime Garagebandabuse! Keep up the good fight and keep em coming!

Brilliant

quite an excellent piece Bosa. Gentle, sweet, lively. It does not exactly give the air of finding somebody, but it gives that spirited feeling. Unbreakable, passionate. Cannot be stopped, things like that.

When the drum rolls came in, it became a more military approach. Now it's not a single person anymore, but a group of people who all share the same spirit. Cannot be broken.

The ending makes me think of a scene, where one of the group members runs off to be by himself. He kneels behind a broken wall of sorts, and thinks back on the earlier days.

A very interesting image indeed. I loved living in it. I have no suggestions to make the song better, but I wanted to drop my support regardless. Keep up the good fight, and keep em coming!

Bosa responds:

Sure thing, buddy! I had some thing s in mind while I worked on this piece and I believe all of it was made out well. Thanks for the support, and I hope to see more from you as well.

:D

Heh, not a casual listening song eh?

The notes are flying by thats for sure. You said it wasn't live played, but damn I thought it was. If I could play this song, i'd feel like a monster, because only monsters with their monster fingers could play it!

I don't really have any words of suggestions, I mean this is like totally already a classic. Can't improve those, so i'll comment on how wonderfully you've programmed those notes!

Bravo sir, bravo indeed. Keep up the good fight!

SolusLunes responds:

The reason it sounds live played is because I actually added velocity to each and every note (well, most, at least) to make it sound realistic. Probably wasn't the most efficient way of doing it, but what the hell. :D

Brilliance!

all these songs you put up about this Swagman makes me want to play it. Google searches only gave me a definiton of Swagman (Which is apparently like a lower middle class Australian?!), and some companies who use the word in their outing equipment.

A common theme in all these tunes is there is a tense, foreboding feeling to them. This Swagman was a horror game? It reminds me of the music in Sanitarium... damn that was a brilliant game. I wish they would remake it.

In any case, excellent work Leon333, impressive as always! Keep up the good fight and keep em coming!

Not my type of song Ian, but I believe this is quite a high quality production. The guitars are ripping, the vocals are crisp, clear.

Work quite well done, it gave me a nice urge to kick puppies all day, and that is I believe the ultimate reason we are all born into this world.

:D

In any case, I really don't have any words of suggestion for you, but I wanted to drop my support anyways! Keep up the good fight and keep em coming!

Neat!

Hello Grillpie. I was told by a friend who was looking for loops that i'd find this page rather interesting, and when I got here, I had to check this piece out!

I like the build up percussion you had going on in here. It has some interesting beats to it, though I am reluctant to say it keeps the song together, it does add to the stability of the piece overal.

The song also loops pretty well, so full marks on that.

I would have liked to hear some more diversified chords for those strings in the background.

I like the oboe melody towards the end. A happy riff.

overal it was a lively loop, and quite enjoyable. Keep up the good fight and keep em coming!

Grillpie responds:

:D Thanks! Who was that friend of yours?

(This is SBB on another account btw)

A little messy

hey DjSpaz

This song has some interesting ideas behind it, but it kinda sounds like you took some random riffs, and tossed them together.

The melodic line didn't really mesh well together, and the panning on the instruments sometimes got irratating.

Good effort, but definitely watch out for what you put where. It seemed somewhat unco-ordinated.

Keep up the good fight DjSpaz! Keep em coming. I'd also like to invite you to check out my work sometime.

DjSpazTech responds:

Thanks for the input. Im sorry the song was not one of my better ones. But at least now I know how to change my mistake =D And for sure, i'll check out your stuff too peace out!

DAMN IT SIMBA!!!

I grew up on this song dj-Nate... god damn it's brilliant. I liked the sudden speed up you had, but I wonder about these insanely sudden transitions of genre It seemed you started off the the theme sad, then sped it up all angry like, then you introduced this electronic melody that I couldn't really make out to be the theme in any way. Seemed kinda random.

After that though, you just piled on the awesome with more awesome.

I wish the file hadn't been lost, I really would have liked to hear this finished.

Keep up the good fight dj-Nate!

dj-Nate responds:

Thanks Maestro. I know it's pretty random. It was my prototype song I wanted to show some few peeps on aim before I really put forth my mastering and work and such, but I completley forgot to save. :(

But thank you for enjoying what little i have. :)

a very subtle and interesting beat you have going on here DjOwnage. The synths are all soft on the ears, and flow along. I believe that is the very definition of Trance music, you sir have delivered!

The quite varied range of synths on top of that also brings about some interesting imagery. My one complain is how some of those wide varied sounds showed up so quickly and disappeared just the same. I would have liked to hear them fade out, rather then being cut off like that. Then again this is personal taste, so take that criticism with a grain of salt.

The song loops exceptionally well, so well done there.

I would have to say my favorite part is that pad you have after that bouncing synth at the beginning, that shimmering one. I love the texture it adds to the piece.

The percussional aspect is one of those things I was talking about. Disappeared so quickly after appearing. It makes me question wether it should have been on there at all.

In any case, good work DjOwnage, keep up the good fight and keep them coming! I'd like to invite you to check out my work sometime!

Brilliant...

a very tense, and very pensive tune. Work well done Leon. I really liked that piano you had going in there. Playing the constant progressive chord in the background, alternating quite well and often.

These are also very good quality sounds you have going on here. May I ask what sounds you are using for these?

I would say those Tremelo violins were damn effective. Short, shrill, and maniacal.

The ending piano riff sounded so sad... and then it turned quite dark.

This easily gets my 5 Leon. Once again, marvelous work. Keep up the good fight!

I consider this account an important chapter in my life
