The 0 is a weapon I cannot say I haven't used. But when I give a 0 I provide strong reasons for doing so. I'll give a 0 to total garbage, but for kicks? Preposterous. What is their sick distorted preversion of reality? Do they get some kind of thrill from the concept of others suffering? Do they take pleasure in their horrible corruption of power? To quote unlce ben, "With great power comes great responsiblity." Those words hold true on this day, this day where people abuse the power that Newgrounds has vested in us. It is our sacred duty to rate fairly and to diobey this is treasonous. I am glad that you have brought this to my attention and I will devote whatever I can to the halt of these actions. The spread of 0 hate must be stopped. "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind" Ghandi (yes im going quote crazy) has warned us of revenge and I stand by you Maestro, in your resolve to end the 0 war and to promote the general welfare of Newgrounds. I listened to Our Dreams by Immune while reading this. "You will never win" + Piano Ballad = Epic:D About your post, you are right.. They are just looking to get their own songs up the charts.. But they have to realise that fame comes with hard work and dedication, and not with voting 0 on a song they actually love, and they act selfish because they just can't bring up the respect for someone who is just either more experienced or more musically talented.
Which is sad for them. I actually have to feel a bit sorry for them, that they have to do these things just to make themselves feel.. better? Do they feel better?
But, if you get a 0 vote, that is not something to whine about in my opinion. While there are a lot of people that form the so-called 0 bombers, the 0 button is there too for a song you don't actually like. And another point is, that your song doesn't change in it's content at all, right? People that do take the time to listen carefully to your song will probably drop you a review. People with a trained ear listen to it carefully and give you advice. That is what (atleast I) submit audio for the AP. I want criticism, because I want to improve, I want to get better at what I love. People should stop squirming about 0's, and start to care more about the reviews, they are far more personal and rewarding (atleast they are for me). Recently some guy on NG was spamming me if I wanted to vote for his song, because it dropped to place 17 in the Dance charts. In my opinion, the song did not even deserve to get in the top 100. He whined because he got zero-bombed. The dumb thing about it is that he probably does it himself too. But that is how it is. The 0 voters are just putting themselves in a downward spiral, and slowly destroying theirselves. Ofcourse, there will always be 0 voters, and there's nothing we can do about it, except for laughing at them.
I myself don't give a burst of shit about the score. All I care for are the reviews, which I dearly appreciate. Ofcourse, I am grateful if someone liked my song so much that he gave it a 4 or even a 5, and I appreciate that, but you will never ever hear me crying about zeroes. I will probably get a lot of zeroes now, but all I have got to say is:

well said, man. Fuck what they say, they obviously have no taste in music. You've done nothing but make epic music tracks, some of which made it into CASTLE CRASHERS! That's a huge fucking accomplishment right there. The 5 raters will rally to defend you, me among them. I'll personally hunt down and flay whoever the son of a bitch is who tries to blam "Rage of the Champions", that's definetly my favorite!
