A good friends mother's passing away.

Posted by MaestroRage - July 20th, 2007

Last week a very good friend of mine lost his mother. We are a close group of friends creating an online game, in which I am a part of. We are all shaken by this loss, and wish Tom, our best.

I have stopped all projects for the time being in order to make Tom a requiem. It is not easy to lose somebody close to you, and I would not wish such an event on my worst enemy.

So here's to you Tom. Keep up the good fight, and may you live your days swimming in pleasant memories of your mom.

Why must a bunch of 13 year old horny closet homos know this?
By that I mean the majority of newgrounds if you catch my drift.

Now that I'm here though, I do give whoever he is my best wishes, if he's about your age (20) I can't believe how that must be. Losing a grandparent is hard enough, but you aren't supposed to lose your parents until you're further in life.

he is roughly my age, a year older. It is not easy losing a parent so early on, I appreciate the remark. As for the 13 year old horny closet homos, I grew up significantly with my time here on newgrounds, sadly I consider this place a home :*(.

Thank you for the remark.

Though it may not mean much, tell him a complete stranger wishes him and his family well.

Rest in peace, Tommy's mommy.

I really don't Tom or anything about him really, but my brother lost his mother a few months ago, hes around the same age, so I know it must be unbearably hard on him.

I don't know you or your friend, but losing a loved one is horrible. It is the worst thing any human being can go through. I hope he makes it through this tough time.

Hey Maestro..I am Incridibly sorry for your friends loss, and if It means anything I will have him and his family in my prayers.. And know that I will be thinking of him and wishing him the best of wishes, and that one day, when the time arrives, I hope he is able to move on and make a difference in the world.
Although I don't know this friend of yours, and am sadly unable to write anything personal, I would like to share a poem I once read with you:

"Now that I am gone,
remember me with smiles and laughter.
And if you need to cry,
cry with your brother or sister
who walks in grief beside you.
And when you need me,
put your arms around anyone
and give to them what you need to give to me.
There are so many who need so much.
I want to leave you something --
something much better than words or sounds.
Look for me in the people I've known
or helped in some special way.
Let me live in your heart
as well as in your mind.
You can love me most
by letting your love reach out to our loved ones,
by embracing them and living in their love.
Love does not die, people do.
So, when all that's left of me is love,
give me away as best you can.

~ Author unknown"

I hope it helps, and once again, I send my love and regards...sorry for my rare loss of words...there is only so much I can say =*(

Sincerely,
~TheWisestMagi~

you have said so much already Wisest. Thank you. I will relay your poem to him.

I'm sorry to hear that, and I find it honorable that you stop all projects to help your friend in need. Well I hope Tom and yourself can get through this event without much sorrow.

I too know how it feels to lose a family member.

Sincerely,
The-Great-One

Hope you and Tom feel better.

Tis a sad and very unfortunate fate that has befallen on your friend's mother Maestro. I wish him the best in all the world and that is mother rest in peace. Here's to you Tom wherever you may be. Hold strong and remember, I may not have known your mother, but I'm sure that she wants you to move on in happiness with your life. God bless you.
