Sweet!

I really REALLY liked the melody and flow of this track! It had me bobbing my head throughout the whole thing! It gets a tad repetitive, but this I can live with.

I love the originality of these synths, and the percussional work. I felt the percussional has a huge amount of potential, I also feel that it wasn't as effective as it could be. It just seems a tad random to me, but really, in it's own random chaoticness, it manages to get the job done.

The only thing I can think of that I didn't quite hear in this track, was pads. Pads are an awesome way to provide low end sounds, filling up the songs spectrum, making it sound more "full" and enjoyable!

Near the end where you have those fast beeps layered on top of that melody. That was = yes.

Good start!

I wouldn't say you're a noob at all! True you're not utilizing the effects as much or as well, but song structure, melody flow, and overall presentation, I found these all at acceptable levels! The percussional beats weren't revolutionairy, but they got the job done!

I can see you have some volume issues when that saw comes in, I don't know if you're using Fruity Studio's, but I thought I heard a choir preset that comes with that, so I will assume that is what you are using.

Be sure to use the compresser effect at all times, that keeps distortion at bay and makes sure the volume levels don't go out of bounds.

The melody of that saw was pretty enjoyable, but again it was the volume levels that didn't fare too well.

In either case, this was definately a pretty good track, Keep them coming! I hear a good deal of potential in you! I'd like to invite you to listen to some of my works sometime, thank you.

Hey Chiron, it's been a while, wanted to drop by your page, see what was happening.

You really have been submitting like a nutcase eh?! Heh, I envy that kind of energy, it seems lately i'm lucky if I can find enough time and energy to finish a song a week.

Oh well, onto the review.

The piano was a pretty steady, repetitive value, and I felt that this could have been a very distinct way of portraying the seasons.

For example, during winter time, if you raised the piano notes one octave higher, you'd get those really high notes which are often associated with winter, if you lowered it one octave, you'd get your summer, if you put in a few more notes, or cut the notes in half, you'd get some quick winds of fall.

You see where i'm going with this? Slight variations to the piano can completely alter the core of the song, and this is something that should be considered when trying to portray an idea or emotion/idea.

The choir, didn't sound reverbed to me. Choirs and instruments in general are very useful if you reverb them, all of my songs have a good slap of reverb on the instruments, for some better choir sounds google Papalmedia choir's and you should get an excellent soundfont file, which is pretty damn neat, I use it still from time to time.

The intro WAS a tad wierd, kinda scary, intimidating.

A flute my good sirs, I feel that a flute would have BANGED that feeling of summer/spring, I am guessing that is the seasons you brought in first, Spring, with that choir, then it gets a little slower, a little lazier, and that is our summer.

Overall, a pretty good piece! I found it quite enjoyable, keep them coming guys! I'd like to invite you to check out my latest piece, it's one that means a good deal to me.

Actually, winter came first, with the 'weird scary' part. then spring, the new beggining after the harsh period of winter. it sort of describes the spring flower's buds struggling to emerge from the chilly soil. lol, jk...but the beggining WAS winter, i meant it to be intimidating. yea i actually looked for a flute or violin, something to brighten summer up a bit, but i couldnt find one that fit. the end is the autumn, a time of harvest and new begginings. thanks again for the reviews, i was checking out the other choirs, i will use a diffrent one next time i need to. again, thank you for the advice. i'll be sure to check out your new song, its always great to hear new stuff from you.

I won't be ashamed to say i've gotten a little green with envy, but, thanks to you, I now have a new standard onto myself! I will get better, and one day I will be up there with you! I mean after all, it must get lonely as the king of the classical no ;)?

Please, don't rebuttle with "I'm not the king!" because really, the level of complexity and professionalism i'm hearing here, just completely blew that crown straight onto your temples.

Don't get too comfortable, i'm out to get you ;).

There is so much epic energy in this, and thats what really gets me, it's a grand grand piece. I am actually smiling, because truly the images are fast, wonderful, and full of context.

I'm afraid i've gone and written a whole review of rant with no constructive sense, I simply could not find fault, forgive me.

5/5, any less is criminal. Long may you compose MrMaestro ;).

The song is hopeful sounding, but it is calm, and it is conveys that emotion effectively. Have you considered a flute to accompany that image?

The melody flows pretty well, I would advise using percussional works in a piece of this nature, it doesn't really fit too well.

Oh well, good stuff, keep them coming!

[Into The Future]

Inspiring!

Well I wanted to give you a REAL review, one saying I vote 0, and another saying I vote 5, really they both just mass vote, but whatever, lets get onto YOUR SONG!

The introduction was a pretty neat way to usher in the rest of the piece, like slowly opening a door.

That clap and kick, in fact your whole percussional aspect of this song was truly fascinating! Where did you get the samples!? I've been DYING to find some good samples, but have thus far failed. Did you apply effects to them outside of reverb (and what I believe may be a slight echo?)

The melody flows brilliantly, had me bobbing my head up and down, left and right, diagnol and vertical (though those last two were rather painful).

The build ups are well utilized, and the synths all blend well together.

Towards the middle where you have those extended synths, I felt the snares there were a tad off, I don't know why exactly, just something about that segment didn't sit with me.

Any suggestions i'd make would all involve classical instruments, as I am a instrumentalist myself, i'd like to invite you to listen to my work sometime, you may like them ;).

The song ends the way it begins, slowly, gently leaving.

Cool.

Heh, pretty neat

This made me laugh, for some reason, I see this great oaf guy just running through crowds, and after plowing through one crowd, he looks around, finds another crowd (preferrably small children), and by flailing his arms, he runs at them!!

The electric guitar segment, was actually pretty cool! The scene got so serious when that came in...

It's not a great song, but it DID give me a laugh, good job ;).

this song loops flawlessly, there's not much to analyse here, but really, for what is there, it's really neat, quite diverse and very useful.

Good mix here, I don't have much to say constructive wise i'm afraid, but I wanted to drop my support anyways! Keep them coming!

Impressive!

I don't know if anybody realizes it takes four 5's to counter one zero, but enough of this, I want to give you a REAL review.

The intro is a nice way to star the song, hide nothing, let nothing lurk, just slap them with the fury.

The gradual percussional additions is something that is done quite often, but as you are aware, it is quite effective. My only qualm with this, is I would have liked to see you mix up the melody while adding the percussiona bits, like not LITERALLY change the melody, but remove or add slight layers, to make it diverse, while still carrying out the same message.

The feel of this song is what really gets me, it truly is full of such energy! I can really enjoy that, the song does become rather diverse with time.

Near the middle there were some notes that were made louder, I felt the difference of volume was a tad too much, kinda proved to be a distraction.

The percussional drive near the end, where everything just wove together, well done good sir, well done indeed.

Regardless, it IS a good song, I will 5 it, not to make up for Zerovoter, but because I truly feel the song deserves it! So here it is! Keep them coming xlash.

It loops nearly flawlessly! Really this is a pretty good loop, it IS pretty damn strange, but it is also very catchy, neat blend of synths and sounds.
