[Ultimate Basshunter Song Remix]

:') So sweet

Hmm, i remember here other remixes of this, but I can honestly and without hesitation say that this is the best! So thick, so juicy, and full of the extreme levels of energy that I have been striving for so long to emulate with classical instruments! *That efforts are thus far a fail XD*

I really really like the ending when you have quite a few melodies going off at the same time. It is arguably a very messy segment, with sounds being lost in the background, and for my earphones at least the bass levels were a tad too high. But those are for earphones, on a sick sub woofer, this song would rupture your spleen.

After that there is a glitched up guy going "ah"? I don't know exactly what it is, but it gave a very strange effect. I didn't quite enjoy it, but I did appreciate it, if that makes sense.

There was this string like sound at the beginning, quite shrill. I did not really think it was necessary there.

But that build up into that melody... oh lawdy lawd that build up was tender...

As far as i'm concerned this a very top notch track, one of Newgrounds betters for sure.

I don't have much else to say, and anything else would be classified as just meaningless "LOL, I LYK" ranting, so i'll cut this here.

To respond to your critism:

The shrill string...that is a common intro in many techno songs. Why, listen to te famous 'Sand Storm' by Da Rude, that song features the same high string intro.

The weird vocalistic part: that is called 'Gabber' I beleive. It was made entirely by DJ Davinster, I know what you mean by not liking it but appreciating it. He worked hard on it so i wont critisize him. It did add a cool feel though. Thanks for complimenting the melodies, i made most of them :D

Well written Esn. Well written indeed. I personally felt there were segments that seemed a little rushed.

I'm talking about roughly after the one minute mark, there is a flurry of sounds. I understand that this makes for a great image of a "rushing" river, but somehow I don't quite like how it was handled. Don't get me wrong, I like the part itself, which might sound contradictory to what I said, but I mean I just don't quite like the structure behind the construction, not the actual segment itself... if that makes any sense.

I really like it after 2:12... it becomes really melodic, and really powerful then. Well written there.

It's a nice mellow piece. Well worth the listen. Keep up the good fight Esn! Keep em coming!

I couldn't fully understand what he was saying at the beginning. All I got was "Despite what they say" and then it goes too hazy for me.

That aside, I am always in love with your ambient abilities. Truly, it's like a bone shivering crack injection. Every track makes me wonder where the hell you were when they were making Silent Hill series, or frankly any other horror game out there.

You get in there, and you get famous! And fast! DO IT! >:(!!!1

The choir was unexpected, it suddenly transformed the whole thing. In a review somebody mentioned a mansion, with this I am getting the images of ghosts of said mansion singing united. Hovering slowly over our main character, their hair and clothes flapping madly as if they were subjected to a great storm in a windless room...

Really great stuff as usual RedHot, I absolutely loved it. Easily a 5 from me, keep up the good fight and keep em coming!

Just some bullshit i thought sounded deep but really means nothing. :D

When the silent hill soundtrack was recorded I was roughly 9 and banned from anything that might scare me. I suppose thats why i like to make music the way i do now.

I love the way you can create storys out of my songs. You think of such origional and fantastic ideas. Much love. <3

The bit that got me the most about this review was you saying I could work in the video game industry. Especialy comeing from some one so talented as you'r self. It truely touched me when i read that. Thank you.

Interesting

like the preview, this has such a happy energy to it. Buzzing with all sorts of positive influences.

It gets a tad repetitive though. Then again I believe the goal of trance is not to move around too much while providing some awesome twists and turns here and there. Subtle changes with dramatic effects.

I could be wrong, feel free to tell me if I am ;).

The piano part cuts off a little too suddenly, and the ending was too abrupt. The rest of the song is solid.

So much energy, catchy melody. Though isn't electronic music with this much energy referred mostly as Techno?

Intense

Hello Bosa! A piece like this is criminal to see with no review. You weren't kidding when you said you spent a lot of effort for it. It's I think one of your best, if not THE best work i've heard from you.

It's such a chaotic cluster of melodies, intertwined to each other. Like a kind of dark village life. I don't know why, but i'm getting the melody of a happy town, but the feel is angry, somewhat excited and focused. Maybe the town is preparing for war?

I like the bells in the background, truly adds more and more to it.

The ending with the piano was also neat. I felt the ending was too abrupt, but it makes for an excellent looping point this way.

I would have liked more layers for the piano, another countermelody, given perhaps another higher up melody!

In any case, excellent work. Keep up the good fight Bosa! Keep em coming!

Excellent!

Hmm... what an excellent way to come in... with that filtered piano. I have to say right away I was wondering, where you would go from there.

It was a rather pleasent surprise on my end, to suddenly see such a dynamic burst of strings and snares.

So driving. It made me think of a Final Fantasy movie clip with a falling feather, in a battle field. The feather flies gently and lands on the hilt of a blade that was dug into the earth. A soldier grabs the hilt when the snares and strings swell up. The feather falls off the hilt and is picked up by the wind, and travels the desert, showing us all the devestation.

There will be no angels showing their faces here, no mercy to rear it's ugly head on the fragile souls of the participants...

A great image. I truly enjoyed this song. I felt the file size was a little large... was this exported at larger then 128kb/s?

In any case, this one was great. Easily a 5 on my scales of scales!

Hey, Maestro. :) I was planning to review one of your songs and ask you to review this sometime soon but I never thought you'd come review it yourself. :D I definitely was aiming at a driving, dramatic song and your story was an interesting, fitting one. Final Fantasy also came to my mind as I was making this. Also - I rendered this MP3 a while back and submitted it only now so I'm not sure about that kbps rate, but I'm fairly sure that it was rendered at a larger rate. Interesting :D

This is indeed quite a happy piece. Those bongo/congo drums really add that feel of rawness, that raw energy and happyness of a simple life. Makes me think of like small kid in a village running through the fields, with friends laughing it up...

a good image, I really liked it.

I really like that percussion line. Quite diverse, and though it's repetitive, it never gets old.

I love the oboe introduction with the strings, that was well done. Though I wonder how the song would have sounded with both the flute and the oboe going off...

maybe even some french horns for a more epic, kingdom like feeling. Then again that depends entirely on if that was in fact the image you had in your head during the construction of the piece.

In any case, a truly useful song. Well done Meteor, a well deserving song.

XD. I really really like this melody. It's so damn sweet and playful. It's also a PERFECT loop. There was only the blasted mp3 split second silence that mp3's have, but even that was handled rather well.

Nothing much to say, but so very much to listen to. Well done Meteor! This is a slick loop.

Such an interesting piece! It sounds kind of happy, a little excited. The future is here, and it's great!

This is strange to me, as i've heard too many "the future is a place of black and destruction" from so many people and places, I have forogtten how a happy future might look.

I guess I should thank you for showing me ;).

I personally like the computer beep like sounds. Really added to the piece, made me think of streams of light zipping and dashing in the sky... brilliant.

The mastering, and equalizing were perfect.

I didn't quite find the ending abrupt, I rather enjoyed the song, it loops rather well. I guess thats just my opinion!

The percussion were also neat. Diverse, and powerful.
