Sweet!

why are these pieces getting such low scores?! Truly you deserve SO much better >:(

I will take it upon myself to fix this wrong!

But first, the song.

Now this song was a very interesting concept. When robots find a god eh?

I would have lowered the robot voice, gave it more reverb, to give it a more "cathedral" feel you know. I can imagine quite an interesting image to that.

After that, the percussion break down, lasts a bit longer then I would have liked it to, however afterwards, the vox that comes on, is BRILLIANT. I love the atmosphere that throws on right away.

Because this is supposed to a robot's religion it makes sense why it's so glitchy.

Nice ending!

I'm glad Bill Gates wasn't in here somewhere...

"In the name of Bill Gates, Microsoft, and The Holy Serial Number"

would have just killed it >:(!!!

In any case, the song was very very well put together Duglus, I just felt that robot voice could have been handled better. Everything else = ace.

Keep up the good fight!

Catchy

What IS IT with you and DEMANDING people dance, or STFU, or Rave, or ROFL, like seriously >:(! We're here to listen to your tracks, not be subjected to questional motives!

But this song, heh... I like this song. A lot.

The beginning was so simple, I was sitting here going "Please oh lawdy lawd, please let it expand like cancer, and expand it's horizons", and it tutelly did.

For work all done in one night, this is exceptional, I am lucky to get something done in a week, forget a night.

The really simple, but alarmingly catchy melody line is what made this song so damn enjoyable.

This definiately gets a 5 bomb, and just for you, i'll get up in computer class and do a little jig.

Especially since that voice told me too... I have no choice in this matter...

*dances to teh beat now*

Keep up the simply awesome work Fatheringness-esque, and keep up that good fight eh! (I also didn't find it that repetitive)

*dances away*

Father-of-Death responds:

FUCK YOU!!!!

hahahaha!!!

DOOD!!!

you are the best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

thnx so so so so so much for your support!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm so happy right now cuz of all the support i'm getting!!!! ^^

THNX EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

how does one STFU AND Rave? I mean thats like just flailing your arms wildly in the air, slapping and smacking people left and right in such a fury it would all end in restraining orders...

I see what you did thar.

To the song itself, there is a huge amount of energy coming from it. Just pumping, which I guess is the point of a rave track!

But it ended so soon :(

The song itself didn't move around too much, but it was damn awesome for what WAS there. Excellent work Father-of-Death, keep up the good fight, and keep em coming!

Father-of-Death responds:

fuckin hell you rock!!!!!!!!!!

Nice

This one, is quite good. I love the feel of the loop, very very useful in many situations.

Loops perfectly!

Keep up the good work!

Neat

I love oriental instruments.

I myself love the dizi flute, and Erhu violin. But I don't know the name of this instrument, could you tell me please?

Very short, but quite effective, nothing to criticize, but I wanted to drop my support. Keep up the good fight Talon!

TalonVulpes responds:

I'm afraid I do not know the name of the instrument I'm trying to emulate - what you're hearing is a modified flute.

Thank you for your review ^^ I'll have more music up soon.

Sweet

I really enjoyed the mix of sounds in this song. Especially that reverbed ocarina/flute? sound. That really... really just made the song for me. The vocals complimented that woodwind's feel, you have a good voice, really.

The song was smooth and worth the listen. I would say the vocals were a tad difficult to hear and make out, due to the effects you put on it, but the more I listen to it, the clearer it becomes.

I don't have much else to say Shenkhar, this was ace. Keep up the good fight and keep em coming! I'd also like to invite you to check out some of my work sometime!

Shenkhar responds:

Thank your for the review! I guess the reason the vocals were hidden was because my mic quality was low and I wanted to hide the crackling and hissing... But I'm going to re-record them later. Also, I took the time to listen to some of your work - - it is quite amazing. Your orchastration was intelligent and flowing, with an epic feel. (and FYI, the reverb flute was the "Romatic" preset in the ToXic III plugin for FL studio. Usualy I like to use my own instruments, but that was too nice to pass up)

I REALLY enjoyed the melody of this one! The beginning especially with the violin medley.

It was a segment depicting great and noble spirited fighters! The quick strings in the background supplied a great deal of emphasis on nobility. I don't know why I relate the two sounds that why, but thats how I feel it works together.

There was quite a little amount of movement concerning that beginning melody and those strings in the background. I know firsthand how tiring and dreadful it can be to create whole new segments for just an extra 10 or so seconds, and I still do that sometimes, but do try to be more diverse with the notes.

This reminds me a lot of my earlier work, I hear a good amount of potential in you Ludzix, really I do.

Keep up the good fight!

Neat

This reminds me of that classical song... jees I wish I knew the name.

It was used in Naruto, as the theme for Orichimaru, you may or may not have heard it. Thats not to say that the song is that song, it's quite pleasently diverse and different, it was just the beginning that reminded me of that.

Going onto the rest of the song.

The percussion to be honest, I didn't think at first it would work, but you've proven me wrong here.

The song loops wonderfully.

I enjoyed the quieter part, with the percussion taking it on themselves with the bass strings. A good contrast to the melodic segments. The high choir introduction during that part was also well carried out.

It was great work Ludzix. I feel that with some better samples, you could really make something powerful here. I hear a good deal of potential in the piece.

In any case, you get my 5, and nod of manly approval. Keep up the good fight and keep them coming! I would like to invite you to check out my work sometime!

Take care.

Ludzix responds:

Yay, thx ^^ I'm not using too many instruments, I've got only 256MB RAM - I'm going to buy more in this month.
The song is looping because I made it for a game, originally it was in ogg format but I encoded it to post here XD

Thanks again for a great review.

Sweet

I had forgotten that you had uploaded some works!

Oh noes to me!

If I remember correctly you played the trumpet, and NOW TEH PIANO!?

:'(

I'm so far behind!

>:(

On a serious note though, you play splendidly. What more can I say, it's a great piece obviously, difficult to play.

I wanted to drop my support regardless, keep up the good fight Dave, keep em coming!

DaveTheMusicMan responds:

"If I remember correctly you played the trumpet, and NOW TEH PIANO!?"

lol, Maestro! Yes, I play the trumpet and the piano.

Even though my last few uploads were piano recordings, I AM still composing!...I'm just not uploading them :P

Sweet!

:D

I love this beat!

I don't know what the original sounds like, but frankly I don't much care at this point. This was pretty damn well done.

I loved the arrangement of synths in this piece, everything seems to work so well. Quite a bit of diversity too.

That lower bass saw? synth didn't alter in melodic line at all, but it worked for every segment that the song presented, rather impressive.

I felt the song lacked some diversity, it didn't seem to be going too many places, but for what is there, it is truly impressive!

I especially enjoyed near the end, with that high pad layered on top of the melody!

Good way to end it.

Great work Hellavon (aka DJ Randumb!) ((I personally like Hellavon better :D!))

Keep up the good fight and keep them coming! This gets my 5.

Hellavon responds:

Woot! thx for the great review Maestro, no surprise there:p Actually ya'know what? I think i agree w/ you, just call me Hellavon. I'll save Dj randumb for another time. Anyways I really appreciate the review, it's very helpful, an thx for the 5 aswell.
