Neat

The beginning threw me off my chair. I did not see it coming at all X_x.

But still it was an interesting experience. The background bass and drums gave it a very interesting feel, the piano like synth gave it a jazzy, ambiant sensation, which was supported by the bell and pad.

The bass and bass kicks are overpowering in my opinion, you should try making them quieter, to allow the rest of the song come out.

In any case, though it was short, it was very impressive. Kudos. I would like to invite you to listen to some of my works sometime. Keep them coming Paulie! I can hear some potential in you.

Paulie-Wallie responds:

Thanks for the tips, I'll try to make my future submissions longer.

This = win!

That bandwagon left like MONTHS ago, not only are you late, but you're so completely out of the picture that your screams of "I'M HERE!" would only sound like the passing winds to those who were already on that wagon...

but I think that wagon should turn around, this song is friggen orgasm in binaric form...

So much energy, so must power! I absolutely adore the structure, the quick speed, the melody, well I can never get over that melody, it's like audio crack to me.

All they synths are at good levels, the melody clear, crisp, and well accompanied by other synths.

Yes, this definately gets +5.

How did you make those claps?! I've been trying to make claps for a while, and to no avail, and WHY OH WHY, did you just fade it out like that :'(. It hurteded my poor soul.

There was also a pretty long gap of silence after, still having those FL problems eh? Oh well.

Keep them coming cornandbeans, also make your own damn bandwagon, cuz this could very well be teh version of the lifetime.

Sweet

hmm, you have some very clean, crisp recordings here, the track is quite enjoyable, the vocals are hard to understand over the guitars.

At the very beginning you had some intense panning on the guitars, I found this effect difficult to listen to, I would not advice doing that again, perhaps a slight panning, but like this I thought my earphones were broken X_x.

Also I would have liked to hear a ripping guitar solo somewhere, it seemed to be the same progression again and again, and though it's a good progression I think it should have taken a rest every once in a while.

Overall though, it was a great track, good stuff guys, a 5 well deserved. Keep them coming!

Quickbeam responds:

Well this is only half of the actual track. But if you want me to, i will play that awesome solo just for you! Yeah and sorry about the start, we started recording a little to early. But i managed to mix it a bit to make it sound nice and fit a bit more with the song. Anyway, thanks for the review man! It means a lot to me!

Lol worthy

heh, your singing reminds me of System of a Down, the melody work reminds me of that too, as well as your singing style.

The "who is it?" at the end just had me laughing my head off XD.

I mean, you COULD have recorded it again without somebody knocking on your door, but that was blood brilliant.

So plus many points for humour. Good stuff man. Keep them coming! I'd like to invite you to check out some of my pieces sometime.

Impressive

What kind of wedding is this!? It's like a buid up rave for the damned, and I love it!

Really the melody is exceptional, and as usual it seems you have excellent production skills, very stable, solid and moves quite nicely.

The sfx in the background was what made this song really special, it added that extra unknown variable quite nicely. The short piano solo's were quite entertaining as well.

To be honest I was waiting for some deep and dark organ to play the wedding song in a minor scale, make it all dark O_O!

In any case, this was an excellent track, another keeper, another 5 bomb. Keep the good work coming!

Sweet!

well it definately loops very well!

The melody flow and overal mixing of this song was very well done! It had a kind of zombie like feel with that high pitched whistle kind of synth.

Also is there like a small kid going "weee!" in this track XD. I found it quite humerous, and made the song more enjoyable to listen to!

In any case, it was a very well structured piece, entertaining and solid. My 5 bomb is belong to you. Keep them coming! I'd like to invite you to check out some of my tracks sometime.

Awesome.

I don't know if you will ever read this, but I decided that it was long overdue to go to your page, and hear once again those melodies that I enjoyed so much from you.

I'm quite saddened to see that it seems you have left, but I suppose everybody does what they want to do right?

This piece was as usual your style, which I enjoy a great deal, the melody work stable, well structured, well flowing, and just damn entertaining. This type of music does not grace newgrounds often, and so having lost you is no small blow.

I suppose it's my current state of sadness, but the song is quite sad in my ears, fragile, timid, bold, like a departure.

In any case LoneEagle, truly I have no thoughts on how to improve this piece, it was very well done. Best of luck to you on whatever you decide! My 5 bomb belongs to you.

LoneEagle responds:

Hello Maestro, long time no see. Thank you very much for all the kind words you wrote in this review... goes straight to the heart.

I won't have as much free time as i used to have back then but i will make an effort and take some time to visit your music page and drop you some well deserved reviews.

Until then take care.

Good stuff!

Well I just HAD to review this, I love teh feeling of floating.

In any case, the synths were pretty laid back, but not very diverse at all, and the constant panning wasn't entirely that useful, however I did find the melody work quite moving, there were some really good parts in there, some really happy, some really sad, and some darker parts.

My only qualm would be using a lower pitched synth, and perhaps a variation of them.

All in all though, good stuff! Keep them coming!

EchozAurora responds:

I never responded to this review?! Whaa? Who knows.. maybe I'll redo this song eventually.

Sweet

This good sir = win!

I found it very god damned entertaining! I loled and loled hard!

I didn't have anything to add or remove, just wanted to support this song and yourself, good stuff, crisp clean recording!

Khuskan responds:

Let this be a lesson to us all. Don't drink and produce.

Neat

I don't know why anybody would think this song was anything but cheerful, I thought it was pretty straight forward, happy go lucky feeling. Like a dangerously over cheerful boy just walking all happy and smiling at everything.

The bass was a pretty neat effect, the piano melody was also pretty simple, but effective.

I know you said going more classical didn't work out for the piece, but have you considered a pad perhaps in in the background? It would serve to make great ambiant kind of feel below this cheerful melody.

Other then that, I don't really have much more to say about it, a good piece, enjoyable. Good stuff, keep them coming!

DSMagnum responds:

I tried using a lot of pads. It's just that the pads in Garageband suck.

Thanks for reviewing!

I consider this account an important chapter in my life
